

Tazewell’s Carter’s Creasy, Cassius Harris, Ethan Mills, Jared Mullins, and Kaizon Taylor have all been tabbed to the Region 2D All-Region team by the Region 2D football coaches.
Both Harris (WR), and Mills (TE) have been chosen First-Team All-Region, while Creasy, Mullins, and Taylor received Second-Team All-Region honors.
Harris led Region 2D with 1,423 receiving yards, 104 receptions, and 9.45 receptions per game in 2021. Harris’ yardage total, catches and his 11 touchdowns are all Tazewell High School single-season records. Harris also ranked first in the region in receiving yards per game (129.4 ypg) during the season.
Mills ended the regular season as the Region 2D top tight end. He led all tight ends in the region with 697 receiving yards, 33 receptions, and 8 touchdowns. Mills currently holds an offer to continue his academic and football career at West Virginia Wesleyan.
Creasy was named Second-Team All-Region Offensive All Purpose. Creasy ranked first in the Region in passing with 2,982 yards, first in touchdown passes with 29, and first in completions with 234. The freshman quarterback compiled five games with 300+ passing yards and five with at least three passing TDs. He set the single-game school record with six passing TDs against Grundy. Creasy also rushed for 650 yards and seven touchdowns.
Mullins was named Second-Team All-Region Defensive Back. He led Tazewell in total tackles this season with 102 stops. Mullins concluded his Tazewell career with 228 tackles. Jared is two-time All-Region performer as he was a First Team All-Region Defensive Back last season. He currently holds an offer to continue his academic and football career at Quincy University.
Taylor, a sophomore, was named Second-Team All-Region Defensive All Purpose. Despite missing two games, Taylor ranked third on the team with 83 total tackles and his 11 tackles for loss led the team.
